I'm back!

The scenery was beautiful. But it was a working vacation. what is my work you say ... I am a mom....
didn't any one tell you. My husband hates it when i say it but for me it's true. I love my babies. But 24/7! you see i never get a break. my hubby doesn't wake up when they need something in the middle of the night. but i do. i truly hink i am the dumb one here. any way back to the vacation.
we landed in L.A. on a thursday afternoon nice and hot! we then went to pick up the rental. they gave us an auto that only had three miles on it. good thing because we put around 1500 miles on that sucker. disney land here we come! it's true L.A. rush hour is like being in a parking lot. hotel in disney was nice. kids complained about the food didn't actually eat $40 gone.
thank gd for grocery stores and mini fridges and "free breakfast" at the hotel. so how long did it take me to convince dh to buy a cooler hmm about 4 or 5 days later. by the time we got to san francisco we found we weren't the only ones. about every family we saw in the hotel had brought one along. that hotel had a kitchenette that was nice.. family ate well that night.
the wealthy people we saw in santa barbara... well i think i've seen enough...it was a beautif place but... hell no! for me living there. not on my income. let see what did i like .... the beaches. the farther north the better. the beach in big sur was fantastic the sand was great but it was cold. i don't mind. dh thought it was much too cold. he got over it though and went off to play with his camera. kenz saw some cool sand art and decieded to do the same. these are the times my family is dearest to me we are in our element when we create. even though i feel like an outsider at times. mostly because i tend to watch. i don't really know how to play. so the rest of the trip went well. we were all very tired of the car. john's i.q. dropped considerably from the beginning of the trip. all he could manage to do in the back seat were fart noises and then bellow "thats gross" or "that really stinks" and poor kenz "he spit on me" or "make him stop". nothing in the world like a family road trip...

You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.
